' Maura Brennan gave us 10 apple trees. Every class is getting 1 each. Miss Dineen and Mr Hickey gave us manure and gloves to help us plant our class tree. Mr Hickey dug a hole big enough for the roots next to the garden fence. We all helped throw in soil. We had to make sure there was enough soil in the bottom. We planted 'Katy' apples. Next, 6th class dug a pond in the garden area. We hope to see lots of apples soon!'
